Layering with Nuno Felt Shawls
Autumn is late this year – Summer stretching her arms into early October like a girl not wanting the party to end. But suddenly this week, it’s beginning to feel like change. Fog is rolling in across the water and casting a soft grey light into the trees. Dew drips down my windows and onto the deck. I started off this morning in my thick ‘winter’ bathrobe with my hands wrapped around a warm mug – the carved white one because it reminds me of cool weather, warm sweaters and my dear friend who lives half way around the world – it’s her favorite mug.
'Tis the season for layers
I might even have to start wearing pants and (real) shoes, instead of sundresses and flip flops...
HA HA Just kidding! I wear sundresses all year long – that’s what layers are all about! But of course, the minute I throw on sweaters and shawls, I start peeling them back off, leaving colorful piles throughout the garden and house.
