Color inspiration in the tiniest details
How often do you slow down and notice the tiny spots of beauty all around you? And how many times is 'beauty' in the eye of the beholder?
Our old wooden fence is rough and cracked. Perhaps in need of care and yes, most would have it sanded down, stained, 'beautified'.
But when you bend down and look closely, you'll notice a carpet of lichen in a gorgeous array of subtle, warm, earthy tones – each tiny piece a different color and texture. If you stand still, you'll be joined by songbirds picking up pieces of lichen for their nests.
For me, this is beauty!
And of course, how could I resist creating a color a palette for one of my Nuno Felt designs?
