I love to try out color combinations on a sample piece before spending time and money on a larger Nuno felt piece. But just because it’s a sample, doesn’t mean it has to sit in a drawer! With a bit of shaping, these small Nuno felt (and pure wet-felted) pieces can become lovely splashes of color throughout your home!

Color notes: A painting in a client’s home served as the inspiration for this piece. The goal was to draw colors from the dining room - where the painting hung—into the living room, to visually tie the two areas together. We chose a combination of silk, wool and yarns in the color palette, and threw in an animal print for extra pizzazz!
