Joyful Color Harmony - Old Teal Glass

Old Teal Glass

Story behind Old Teal Glass:

Mineral deposits lend intrigue to this collection of old teal glass. When sunlight strikes it, the glass becomes saturated and the white frosting turns iridescent with hints of purple and peach. But even when the light is soft, as it is in this photo, the glass swirls with color greyed with age.

The creamy yellow of my wood window sill blurred through the glass, echoes the soft grey undertones of this split complementary color palette.
