Spring Paints Her Colors
Spring Paints Her Colors
Tree buds unfurl
in a confetti of chartreuse
as perennials cast off
their warm blanket of earth
and stretch
their arms to the sun
Then seeds scattered
in last Autumn’s winds
burst into a cacophony of color
and all of a sudden it’s Spring
painting her colors
over Winter’s green canvas
Art and Words by Beverly Ash Gilbert
We hold the power to rise above feelings of anger and frustration and focus on what brings us together rather than what drives us apart. We can choose kindness and understanding over fear and tribalism.
What is the story in Your Heart?
I’m a happy ending kind of girl…
Creating joy every single day - We get to choose what we let in and how we react. We get to choose kindness and common courtesy over rudeness and insensitivity
The Joy of a Sanctuary – We all need a place to retreat to, on our own, to calm and restore
Things I Love - living each day to the fullest
