Scattered Seeds
Flowers in my garden
throw their seeds into the wind
Robins, sparrows and chickadees
doing their part to spread them
willy nilly throughout
next spring's garden
I watch a tiny chipmunk gather moss
then scale the brick wall to make a nest
in the gutter
While the fat grey squirrel
digs up tulip bulbs
then replants them
somewhere else
