Before we dive in to what it means to be a Romantic Color Goddess, let me introduce myself:

I’m Beverly Ash Gilbert, an artist, author and teacher  whose work inspires and uplifts women around the world. Throughout my classes, books, and artwork, I honor the fact that we all see and experience color differently.

Have you ever felt an emotional response to color? Perhaps you don’t know why you react the way you do, but when you’re surrounded by colors you love, you feel uplifted, calm, drawn in to the work of art, or the room. But walk into a space filled with colors you don’t like, and you feel uncomfortable, edgy, tense, anxious to move away. 

The emotional response to color is powerful

And the more I work with color, the more I realize it’s the combination of colors that draw us in, even more so than the individual colors themselves. I help women tap into the power of color harmony to transform their creative work and create personal spaces filled with colors that make them feel uplifted and joyful.

Understanding WHY you feel the way you do about color is the key in unlocking the beautiful Color Goddess inside you!

As a Romantic Color Goddess, you’re positive, playful, fun and love to be surrounded by people. You’re nice to everyone and even people you don’t know think you’re friendly! Being upbeat and positive is important to you because you want others to feel good.

You create fun seasonal displays inside and out and are in your element when friends and family congregate at your home for parties, holidays and other fun events. You’re drawn to soft, dreamy colors, but are willing to add to your collection with whatever’s in style. 

Unfortunately, there are times when you might come across as superficial because you’re so focused on taking care of others that you don’t let many people see the real you. In fact, your magnetic personality and sunny outlook can sometimes be mistaken for high confidence when inside you’re very sensitive.

If you aren’t careful, your tendency to people-please can stifle your creativity and use of color – because people’s reaction to you and your work not only affects your mood but also your creative drive.

So… how can you enhance your creative confidence and use of color enough to release the Romantic Color Goddess inside you?

The most important thing to remember is that you are amazingly creative and are already a color expert – a Color Goddess! When you fill your home and life with the colors you love, you’re creating space that is comforting and uplifting for both you and the important people in your life.

I’m excited to give you ideas and tools to enhance your creative confidence and help make your compositions – whether it’s your home decor, paintings, outfits, garden, jewelry or floral design – uplift you and everyone who is lucky enough to know you.
